Bericht van het Portugese Nationaal Spoorwegmuseum - voorbeeld van een restauratieproject

We are very happy to inform you that we finished the restoration of our Presidential Train. The restoration project began in 2009  and it was completed in June 2013. Inauguration was in 12 December 2013. All the six vehicles were restored and certified by the authorities to run all over the country.

Project total costs were 1.515.000,00 Euros co-funded by European and National funds.

We are organizing several promotional trips across the country (last one was in  27^th March to the North of Portugal and next one will be in May) in order to create a new touristic product, the first of its kind in Portugal.
